Town Council Subcommittees
The Council Finance Committee is responsible for reviewing Town finance issues and convenes on an as-needed basis. The Council Finance Committee is a sub-committee of the Town Council, and serves as the selection and supervising committee for the Town's external audit.
At the February 21, 2017 Town Council meeting, Council directed staff to begin recruitment for three (3) resident non-voting members to be appointed to the Committee, each for a three (3) year term. Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
1. Resident of Los Gatos and a registered voter in the Town of Los Gatos (the incorporated limits of Los Gatos);
2. Five years of experience in at least one of the following
a. Financial experience in a corporate, business, or government setting;
b. Principal or officer at a financial auditing firm;
c. Investment banking;
d. Finance or budget management;
e. Certified public accountant (CPA)

This Committee was created to study Parking and Infrastructure and meets as needed to review and discuss opportunities in these areas.
The Town Council Policy Committee convenes on an as-needed basis to review and recommend Town policy updates. This is a sub-committee of the Town Council.
