General Information
– The Library Board makes recommendations to Los Gatos Public Library staff and Town Council regarding Library services and policies.
– The Board consists of five members, appointed by Council for three-year terms. Town residency is required for appointment.
Meetings
– Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of February, May, September, and November, at 3:00 p.m. in the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, 208 East Main Street. Special meetings are held as necessary.
Recent Projects
– Worked toward development of the Library/Civic Center Master Plan.
Visited two new local libraries: Tully Road Branch of San Jose Publicand Santa Clara City Main Library.
– Provided feedback on budget issues for Fiscal Year 2006/07 budget.
– Several Members attended the California Association of Library Trustees and Commissioners meetings.
