Loan Periods and Renewals
- Feature videos/dvds and all Children's videos/dvds: 1 week
- All other materials: 3 weeks
All items may be renewed twice, if no requests are pending. After the second renewal, the item must be returned to the shelf before the same borrower can check it out again.
Renewals may be made online, in person, or by phone.
Borrowing and renewing privileges are restricted if balance owed is $10.00 or more.
It is the responsibility of the card owner whose card was used to check out library items to return or renew those items by the due date. Fines will be charged for items not returned or renewed on time.
Overdue Fines
- All materials: $.50 per day per item up to Maximum.
- $5.00 maximum for Juvenile materials
- $10.00 maximum for Teen or Adult materials.
Lost Items
- Lost books: cost of the item plus $10.00 processing fee.
- Lost magazines, paperback books, and children's materials: cost of the item plus $5.00 processing fee.
- Lost audiovisual materials: cost of item plus $10.00 processing fee.
Returns
All library materials (size permitting) may be returned in the two after-hours book drops available near each entrance.
